I'm currently using my Z10, I love it but in a few months I'm gonna consider the Z30 when I find one on sale.

How old is your Z30, how regular do you use it, and how is it stacking up? And if you have one that's older and has been through abuse please share the abuse and how it's doing now.

Why would you abuse anything as expensive as a phone?

Mine is now 17 months old and still looks as new as the day I received it.

It's kept in a swivel holster but is always naked when in use.

By abuse I don't think he/she meant punching the phone till your knuckles bleed lol, I assume they meant how is it fairing through it all.

Mine is in tip top condition, only issue is the phone getting slower now.

Z30 is by far the best all touch device that BlackBerry has ever put on the market, and the Priv is not going to change that status, because it isn't an all touch device. The Leap pales in comparison, as does the Z3. Don't know why BlackBerry decided to go backwards in stead of forwards in this technology.

Bought mine via Verizon with wireless charging. Always has worked great.
Finally found a white folding case for it. Very happy for a couple more years
until important new features arise. Use Microsoft HDMI dongle to watch
Netflix and Hulu. Am paying about $8/mo for insurance. Duh.
    Whatever.

Could be hoodwinked into Priv, but need really accurate comparison
of Z30 and Priv screen sizes. Plus, would need to get strong feedback that
slider is not a POS. Also, much more on security and privacy.

I replaced my Z10 with a Z30 over a year ago and so did my wife. We love the Z30. It does everything we need in a business smart phone and for our aging eyes, the screen size is perfect. No complaints. We keep cases on our phones and they remain in pristine condition.

In March mine will be 2 years old. Dropped and cracked the screen. Replaced the screen with a cheap one. It died, replaced with a better replacement screen. Been working fine. Only issue was my dropping it.

Had it since it came out in Canada. Battery is getting weaker and the microphone is giving a lot of people problems, just search this forum and you'll see. It's happening to me.
My friends GPS completely stopped working and mine is intermittent.
BBM takes forever to startup (not sure if it's a z30 thing or if it's a bbm thing).
Specs are out dated. I wear it naked, always, so it's showing its age.
But all in all, it's not bad. I'm not feeling the priv nor it's price. I'm also not a fan of any of BlackBerry's current offerings so I'm not sure what my next phone will be in a couple of months. Maybe a Sony Z3 or Z5.

Fantastic. Been in an otterbox since about a month after purchase, but hasn't exactly been babied. If it's replaced down the line, can easily convert it into a media player or something.

Software wise, starting let me down. Freezing up, lagging. Not nearly as fluid as when I bought it.

I've had mine since release and even after a few drops it's still going strong. No issues, still great battery life, speakers, camera etc... My only complaint has been the loss of some custom predictive words after the last update.

My z30 is 16 months old, apart from the 2-3 second answer lag ( which is a ball ache) it's all good, however people keep saying to me when in a call "are you there, can you hear me, it's a poor line, I'll ring you back " to this end I'm thinking about leaving the beloved BlackBerry and going to Korea for my next phone - Samsung - I really really don't want to but it looks that way.

By the way Z30's are not being made any more so you might want to look at the Leap....

I have had my Z30 for 10 months and it has been in a Trident Aegis case for most of it. I switched to a tempered glass screen protector about 8 months ago and it doesnt have any scratches on it even though it spends most of its time in one of my pockets. I have dropped it a few times without incident. Frankly, it's a well built phone and it's holding up better than the Samsung phones I have used and treated similarly.

    Hdmi port with landscape mode
    All touch screen
    Good battery
Can run BlackBerry and Android 2 whatsapp means u can use 3 what's app and 2 BBM and all other good apps from BlackBerry and Android
    Design is perfect
Accepted SD card till 128 GB

    Average camera

What you need more in a phone

If you give me priv or iPhone s6 plus or any android I will not agree

I bought mine two weeks ago. Relatively cheap and unlocked from Staples in Keswick, ON. If you're getting one get it soon, or they'll be all gone . I bought it after my Samsung S4 died. Now, I get to run all the same apps I loved on my S4, and have the awesomeness that is the HUB
