I record meetings and want a decent back up in case of malfunctions etc. Want to know how good the Z30 is with all the mics etc.

I have Parrot installed, but honestly I don't use it much. I like it better than the one with the O/S because I find it easier. Sounds good to me but I have not compared it to another phone.

For me it's Parrot, too.
Works very well.

Parrot is the most user friendly. It has a good Cascades implementation. Only gripe is the fact you can only replay the recordings in-app. I haven't found a way to export the recordings without upgrading, if that function exists at all.

I use the app Voice Recorder for exportable files, but the free version is very naked.

I use Phone Call Recorder.

Allows you to record WAV, M4A, AMR, and AWB. Auto record on call connect and can also do manual recording.

Record to SD card is supported. Quality is great I use m4a.

Whatever you chose make sure you disable the voice command activation on the mute key. If you do not you will definitely nuke your recordings. Any time this button is pressed during a recording session any resultant voice recording will become corrupt, regardless of what application you are using to record.

I learned this the hard way.
