When I do *#06# on my phone, I get my IMEI number with /29 at the end. This is suppose to be a monitoring or tapped, bugged by my cell phone provider. How can I removed this?

My IMEI also ended with /27, is that means my phone was tapped?

Mine also from India ended with /25. How to confirm that the additional digit after IMEI is tapped?

Let me answer your question...tapping is an external problem. It can happen to even BlackBerry phones because BlackBerry says its software is secure. It says nothing about the unhackability of the sim. Your sim's security is obviously compromised so the only option you have are to either live with a tapped phone or to change your sim card altogther.

We just want to know where you have your information from on what numbers are Hacked and what not. That will definitely help on finding a solution.

It's just the IMEI SV version (Settings > About phone > Status > IMEI information on Android, whatever it is on BB10), which is based on the device software. No tapping at all.

I have a feeling that worrying about the IMEI ending is a way to get gullible people to give up their IMEIs for whatever purpose.
