Try putting it on 2G when you don't actually need the high speed data. Turn off location service as well.

The Z30 can be disassembled very easily and is almost all screws and plug and play, except for the glass that is glued to the screen.

Just a consideration to your options.

I love my Z30 and hopefully it does not come to having to replace it. But, if I did, I think I would opt to try the next phone up and get the SE Passport.

Mine lasts at least all day long when I use it heavily, 36 hours on weekend, when the usage is moderate. Never changed the battery since 2014. On the other phone, a DTEK 50, I manage to keep battery charge for the day, that is 12 hours.

Switch to desktop mode, or use an image service like Photobucket or Flickr and wrap the image url in [img][/img].

Back when I played asphalt (admittedly probably on the Z10), I'd find that the battery would reduce even plugged in - that game used charge more quickly than the power grid could supply it!

On the wider issue of battery life - I'd consider swapping in a new battery to the z30 when the time comes - hopefully by that point I'll be able to get a bigger capacity one...
