My Z30 started to show a notification saying "device storage almost full consider moving or deleting existing files". In my device monitor I have found most of space is taken my system. Before the screen shot 16GB was almost full and had no free space. So I cleared cache, browser history, some apps to increase the space. Now it is on current shape.
How can I free more space in my device? Thanks guys for your time.

Delete flipp ,wait 5 miss and check again.

I've contacted flipp before, but they don't reply.. their app doesn't show proper cache values and you can't clear data or clear cache from within android settings.. but BlackBerry Link showed flipp as using like 4gb

If you really want to blow it out, just do a wipe and start fresh. Android apps are TERRIBLE at cleaning up after themselves and they leave behind a ton of crap which is likely what's actually taking up all your space. You can try hunting it down but really, there's no better way than just wiping it out. Don't back up your app stuff though, that'll just be putting the problem back on your device when you restore.

    Settings>Security and Privacy>Security Wipe.

Keep in mind, you're wiping your whole device so save / back up anything you really want to keep. (photos, music, etc.)

I am also facing issues with storage. It's shows that I have 7gigs of storage used up while the details show only approx of 5 gigs ( see screen shots) . I have SIC wiped and security wiped the device. Not many android apps are installed. Don't know why the details are incorrect or where the storage is being utilized.

It seems that every time I install a new OS old OS's still occupy space. I have SIC wiped before installing a new OS but it seems that it does not make a difference.

If you're at 7 GB of used storage on your device, then you're sitting real good. No need to worry. Just put in a new SD card and you're golden!

Well it does not bother me. I have a 32 gig card as you can see. What bothers me is the bug that shows incorrect used space. Some other apps show me that I have only 4.55 gb of used space. Also when I backup my device it shows that I have over 2 gigs of application executables stored somewhere. I could delete them if I could find them.
