Do you have the 7Digital app on your phone? Once you have it you can use that to download all the purchased music.

    First off, welcome to CrackBerry!
Please update your profile to include device, carrier, and location. This makes it easier for others to help you.

I'm moving this thread as it's not specifically a Z30 issue. Hopefully this lets more people see it and you get your answer more quickly.

Yes, I do have the 7 Digital app but want to continue using my music player. I cannot find anyway to move music around.

You can use the app to download your music to the phone. If you tap "My Music" and go to "Tracks", you'll see a download button beside each track.

    It's a little cumbersome, granted.

There's another, faster, easier way to go: In the top right of the app you'll see three dots for an overflow menu. Tap that, and you'll see an option to "Download All".

    Hi caycebugs!

You can still listen to music in the player, by downloading the files from the app. These files will show in your library and be available to play.

If the issue still persists however, there could be a specific issue with the file. If that's the case, I can easily investigate, just let me know your recent order number so I can locate your account.

    Thanks,
    Adele

You MAY need to navigate to your files with the File Manager.

I'm having a similar issue, i hit the download button and i only have one song that downloaded. I hope that you are going to create a native bb10 app as this android port is not very good.

I've found the music files are in a different format and can't be played except in the 7Digital app.

Ahhh ok. Thank you for an answer to the question I've also had about playing music bought on 7digital store. Until it's sorted, I'll refrain from buying.

Update: I'm confused. After reading this thread, I installed the 7Digital music store on my Q10 and bought a track, to try it out. The download was slow, but eventually finished. The first, second, and third times I tried to play the downloaded file, in the BB10 Music app, I got an error message saying it could not play this format. I did a restart and was able to play it. I have no idea what was going on, but eventually it worked.

I eventually gave up and used the pc to download the files and then transfer them to the z30, through iTunes /link.

I used the 7digital app today and it was flawless.

I bought a couple of tracks. The app said I had to play the track through because it downloads as you play.

Once completed, the BB10 player automatically found the completed files and I was able to play them. They are stored in Device/misc/Android/7digital/tracks.

The 7digital app even gave a Hub notification of download progress.

If you get the cannot play message, just restart the music player. It probably got winded from indexing the new files.

Tracks are downloaded as you play them fully in the 7digital app.

There doesn't appear to be background downloading. I've tried choosing "download all" but that doesn't work so for now you might have to use your computer for mass downloads.

I'm using my cellular network so I don't know if it works with wi-fi. I have selected high quality over 3G.

I can understand the logic here as a bandwidth-saving mechanism. Tracks are being "cached" so presumably only the ones you actually play will be using up precious bandwidth and won't be downloaded repeatedly unless you delete them from the device.

Obviously, it affects those who want to sync their entire music library directly from the 7digital servers to the device and play them in a separate player.

    ^^^ THIS ^^^

It looks like 7digital also provides the HMV service. My 7digital account works and my library is available plus I can "Download all"
