I'm not worried about my own cooties, and I don't let others use my phone. I'm fairly careful not to frequently touch surfaces that many others have, and washing my hands afterwards if I have (store door handles, gas pumps, etc.). Not going to a Howard Hughes-level about the subject, thank you! A few bugs fighting here and there keep your immune system on its toes...

I rub hand sanitizer over my z30 and q10 whenever I put on my hands.

Personally, I just rub the screen on the sleeve of my shirt. Works fine for me

+1. The screen in the Z30 is very easy to keep clean and does not finger print much.

I think I might start loitering in busy town centres with a wet rag offering to "clean your phone, sir?" and see if I come up on the loot.

Case + screen protector on mine.

I take case off wipe with lysol wipe

Carefully wipe phone with lysol wipe, let dry

I let my immune system do the work. I wipe it clean with the PlayBook cloth sometimes, mostly for appearance. I have used an alcohol swab a couple times if it seems extra grimy. My Z10, that is.
