Open mail, click on "More" (3 dots; down right), then click on "File" and choose in which folder you want to save mail.

That doesn't save the email to the internal memory though, does it?

Select all content of the email and share to remember. If you've got Evernote, file it in that folder and it will sync across Evernote accounts. Probably not what you are looking for, but it's a work around.

If you flag an email, it goes to Remember. If you delete the email, it gets deleted from Remeber.

Also, there is no way to grab and email and force it into a synced folder, they all go to the same local folder.

Right now, it can't be done.

Go into your advanced email settings > Sync Timeframe > then choose your setting anywhere from 1 day to forever.
This way you can delete the ones that you don't want to keep.

Flagging's not the same, because if you are like me it will disappear after my 30 day sync. Sharing the actual content (by selecting all) to Remember and putting it in Evernote ensures it is backed up even if I wipe and reload (which I do often these days and don't backup with link).

I use a combination of flagging, saving, and filing. Flag to follow up, file to save to the server (for work), and saving to remember (for personal).

Anyways it works for me. But maybe because I'm on the leak? 1279.

Oh, you mean manually doing it.

Still means it can be done as the OP wanted it to.

Um yea. Syncing with an email account is not the same as saving an email locally. I use a Bold and love the "Saved Emails" feature. Should be made an option on BB10.
