Had the phone only 3 months and this is the second time I've done it...

Getting changed in work, left my phone on my shorts(i work in a gym) then picked the shorts up with the phone still resting on them. The picture sums it up

Thanks! I replaced it the last time, but because it's the white Z30 (rare phone) the parts cost 100 pound

I broke mine moving a hayring, had to get it replaced. I probably should have just replaced the screen instead of doing a insurance claim. In my case a case didn't help, but I agree you should probably get one.

Yeah I know about the white screens I have one. Thankfully BlackBerry replaced mine or I would have had to pay around $75 for the screen..

I dropped my z30 from waist height on pavement. It was in the flip cover case. It fell in what seemed like slow motion and landed screen down with flip cover open. Shattered screen at top Centre.

I replaced the screen on my vzw one, it was easy to do. Finding parts can be difficult.

That sucks. But to be honest, if you want to carry around an expensive piece of technology like the Z30, then you need to be more careful/responsible.

I know right! Haha, maybe that's why I've done this twice now, treating it like my old Curve.

I actually dropped my Curve in a cup of tea once, a few keys were broken and when it dried the screen had a yellow tint but it still worked! Haha

my Z30 screen broke too. Changed it for $57. From a very good shop that sells phone parts. The cost of fixing is included in the $57

    From Zarafet my Z30.

Was it the Black version? It's easier to get parts for the Black, the white one is rare, which makes parts even more scarce & Expensive.

BTW, they're undoubtedly the easiest screen to replace of any smartphone I've ever seen.

That sucks bud, if it makes you feel any better, I broke 2 screens in a matter of 5 days. And had to fix my loud speaker. Would've been cheaper to just buy a new one...

They really were. The exploded on contact with the ground; with phone, battery, and battery door flying in three directions, but they never seemed to break.
