This phone is spectacular.. If your on the fence about moving up from your new z10 (i know it will hurt the pocket book a bit... but here me out)... If you like the bigger screen... its unreal. The typing with the extra real estate is un canny. I actually have my bold 9000 keyboard as a touch keyboard on my phone. with a fantastic screen, I love this phone, talk yourself into the ground about specs and apps. I want brilliance - and for me its Blackberry..

TLDR... Z30

Dunno who was complaining about build quality... this thing is a tank. (soft gentle elegant tank)

I've been shopping around to get the z30 under 500. I'll keep looking around until I can find one for 450 ish. I bought z10 for 230 and sold my q10 for 400 so far.

i literally did the exact same thing today! i'm loving this phone!!! i had a tradeup quote for $200 from like a month ago, and used that to pick this baby up. the customer rep said the quote was for $50 today if i didnt have mine!
my only problem is, when i got home, i'm trying to restore data from my z10 back up but its not letting me. says its incompatible

I had the same problem and had to install the leak on my Z30 to bring it to the same version. It's crazy that they don't push the same versions out... makes migrating to a new BB10 device a nightmare.

You can ask for some deals for having products come in late. Ask them for 50% off on your plan for the next 3 months or something.

Brutal. Upgraded my z10 last week with Telus, and I got $145 credit towards the Z30 which was $129 for 2yrs. Plus a device balance of $370.

No... it has to match the version that was installed on the Z10 when you took the backup. The last one pushed to Rogers was 10.2.0.1791 so you need to install that specific version on the Z30. For some reason Rogers didn't release that one to Z30s yet.

thanks. I called them back and they told me that my order was cancelled on nov 3rd because the phone is not available. maybe an email would have been nice. I try a store tomorrow I guess. Maybe I should have taken the Bell 600 dollar port over credit when they offered it to me in the store when I played with the z30 there.

yeah it was an expensive upgrade since I already had the z10 so. Im trying to sell the z10 to at least get that money back. Still. even If I were to look at it as a 400$ new purchase. Its still an amazing device... Getting used to the size fairly quickly... the speaker quality is UHMAZING.

Guys it's easy just to do a new set up with everything fresh. Copy all your contacts to sim and move them over that way. Email and bbm contacts will transfer with your account. I won't risk my new phone with the installation of leaks.
