My Gmail contacts world beautifully right from the the beginning on my z30. No duplicates entries or any other hassles

But when I use the computer to make changes to the contact it doesn't sync to the phone right away (takes a while) whereas any changes done on the phone is immediately reflected on the computer.

Wondering why?

So the sync interval in my email account settings is also for the contacts? I did try to change it to 5 min. Not sure whether it made any difference. But after a while I did get the updates on my z30

The sync intervals are different for your gmail contacts and calendar versus your email. Go into settings/accounts and you will see three different accounts for your gmail settings.

Select you calendar and select the advanced button and scroll to the bottom and change the sync interval from the default of 30 minutes to the 5 minutes setting and and select save.

Do the same for your contacts and you should see a huge improvement. Hope it helps.
