And yes I have done the search. So far on Windows 10 I have tried BlackBerry Extractor, ABC Amber, and MagicBerry but will not or cannot open. Backups from multiple bb10 phones using BlackBerry Link from 2 different puters. Any suggestions? Just opened an old Torch backup no problem with all 3 programs.

Pretty sure BlackBerry switched to encrypting those back up files, that's why the old ones before they were encrypted will work but new ones won't.

Yep. The backups are encrypted now. No choice in the matter either.

The old BBOS 7 and older backups could easily be read by any "zip" file reader.

Thanks B... that is valued advice. Are there any services that can? Either that or I guess pick a phone, back it up and restore the backup file I need.
