    Hi guys .
    Im just upgade to the z 30 great device but i just check hub and emergency alert dosen't show( no icone ) in hub on my z 30 but when i check my z10 there is ??? why is diffrence ? im on official 10.2.1.2941 on vodafone uk .
    Also in my z 30 is voicemail icone but not in z 10 ?? Any idea ? or thats just me ? Thank you for all answer and have a nice days

    Did I miss something in my Z10? What is the emergency alert in the hub? I can't see one in my hub?

    in the hub z10 i have emergency alert icon and ( alert about weather etc ) but i dont have this on my z30 ?? This feture come in last os 10.2.1.2941 to my z10 but its missing in z30 ?? i check both hub .

    yes on both device cell brodcast is on . And both device is from vodafone ,both on same os 10.2.1.2941 one diffrence is z10 is unlocked but z 30 is locked to vodafone uk .Weird ?

    The stock BlackBerry weather app on my Z10 doesn't allow for weather alerts in the UK at all. But BeWeather Pro does allow for alerts, but again not for the UK (apparently we don't have enough severe weather to worry about this), plus the app needs to be running to push any alerts to the hub. I have a friend in Miami that I get weather alerts for if I open up the app when an alert is active for there. Maybe you need to activate the alerts to show up in your hub via the settings in these apps themselves.

    on both device weather app its same I just wonder why is diffrence ? and how this explaind ? also in hub z30 i have icon voicemail but not in z10 but on both device try swap both fingers from bottom anywher wher you are and will show you keybord

    On the Z10 you only get a notification for voice mail in the hub when you have a voice mail there to listen to. If none are there then you don't see the voice mail tab in the hub.

    Not sure why ... which Z30 are you using? I have the alerts on Z30STA100-5/10.2.1.3175 (Rogers software).

    Well in my z30 doesn't exist that's why i ask, i try all options and doesn't exist. Vodafone UK 10.2.1.2941 STA100-2. On my z10 existing and working same network, same os . Well it's looking like everybody got different some people have it some don't have it

    Try Hub Management then press Emergency alert

    Swap your z10 simcard to z30 simcard emergency alert will show up

    I'm not sure if this is what you need to look at.

    Open the Hub. Tap the "Vertical Dot" Menu in the lower right. Hit Settings (options? whatever). At the bottom, hopefully, will be Emergency Alerts. Tap it and choose settings.

    What version of the OS do you have?

    It's not there. Last item in settings is Cell Broadcast

    Cell Broadcast and Emergency Alert are the same thing, it's just named different depending on what country you are in.
    It a system that broadcasts short messages to all devices able to receive them in an area related to whatever the message is about from all towers in the location.
    Typical uses:
    • Extreme weather alerts, like a tornado or flash flood in the area. Natural disasters.
    • "Amber" or "Silver" alerts, when someone is reported to be in danger in the area, like a child kidnapped from the street or an elderly person gone missing.
    • Police, emergency services, war, or terror related activity in the area. Martial Law, major toxin spills, wild fires, bombings, and such.
    • "Presidential Alerts" where the national leader has an announcement of major importance.

    I have the emergency alerts on my Z30 but not my Passport.
    Also, I'm not sure if the emergency alerts is the same as cell broadcast. When I click into each of their menus, they have different functions.
