One of the little things I things I thought the iPhone did well was display your voice mails in a list with who called, the time, and the ability to play messages directly from the screen without having to call and use the archaic voice mail system.

Is there a way to achieve this same elegance on the Z30 (or bb10 in general)?

I'm running a Verizon Z30 if that matters.

Go to your hub, click the icon on the bottom left side (should say hub) and click visual voicemail

It's called visual voice mail and its availability depends on your carrier.

Does anyone know of a way to view voice mail in a similar way to the iPhone?-img_20131238.png

Alternatively, i would sign up for Google Voice, and then load the Bar file (which works. It is a slightly older one, but it works great and does not require Google Services).

Where did you get the black theme? I bet you're running a Z30.

Ah, visual voice mail. It looks like I don't have that option in my hub and couldn't set it up through the settings in the phone app. That's disappointing because I know for a fact Verizon supports it through my old iPhone 4S.

Anyone else have this same shortcoming on the Verizon network?

Call Verizon or stop into one of their stores and ask them to setup your visual voice-mail. You do pay them after all

Visual voicemail for iPhone is separate from visual voicemail for blackberry. You have to get Rogers to switch it to the correct one. Vvm for iPhone doesn't work on blackberry and vice versa.

btw SmileDahling.. This guide is for the z10 but I don't see how it would be set up different'y on the z30.

Visual Voicemail is $2.99 / month on VZW. In your HUB in currently says Voicemail, but if Visual is activated you will see messages in there just like iPhone.

I'd definitely check with your carrier.

My neighbour had this feature on his OS7 BlackBerry device at least three years ago - when he was on Rogers and I was on Bell (without this option and on a similar BlackBerry unit).
