What is the difference between the z10 and the z30. Is there a huge difference. Was thinking of making the switch from z10-z30 any ideas??

There are two big changes: battery life and speaker quality, along with the obvious size difference. The smaller differences would include things like a slightly improved processor and GPU, Miracast and FM radio. With the Z10, however, you will sacrifice screen quality by quite a bit. Not only resolution wise, but you're taking a major step down from IPS to Super AMOLED. All of that translates into a dimmer, duller, warmer, and less crisp display.

Unless you use your Z10 and a Z30 side by side all the time, the screen resolution/dimness concerns are quickly and easily eclipsed by the incredible improvement in battery life.

Seriously,.. I was worried about all the screen comments for months, but as many have said before, once it's your daily driver you never think about any of it.

I still get a kick out of checking device manager every night before going to bed and plugging in the Z30, and seeing 40-30% left ...

The speakers, slightly better specs and bigger screen are nice too.

The Z10 is 1800 mAh so the Z30's main improvement over the Z10 I would say is easily the battery. But OP, the main thing I would do is check it out in person. See how it feels in your hand and be sure you're OK with the screen.

it might just be me, but I actually preferred the dimmer screen of the z10. at the default setting, the z30 was way too bright for my liking - especially in dimly lit or dark areas. I actually had to turn the brightness all the way down to like 15% because it was hurting my eyes.

the battery drain is non existant lol. I regularily get two days of moderate use (around 36 hrs) on a single charge, while my gf (still on a z10 and a heavy whatsapp user) runs through two batteries in one day. my only issue is the hard keys. I leave the music player open all the time and sometimes when I pick up the phone I accidently press the play (middle) button and music starts blasting from the speakers. it's happened a couple times during meetings.
