Sure hope this hasn't been covered yet cut I've searched. Wanna use the 32gig SD from old SGS3. Already backed up SMS to it so can I plug & play in new Z30 even w android & Samsung junk on it ?

Thanks Chris! Another subnoob question ; how can you tell it's formatted FAT32?
64GB and up are factory formatted exFAT. 32GB and under are FAT32.

But BB10 can handle both, so no big deal.

As long as it's FAT32 formatted you shouldn't have a problem. Anything above 32GB and you need to use exFAT.

If you want to wipe out the "junk" on it, you can format it in the phone. But otherwise, it should create any folders that it might need.

Actually, you might want to test the card a bit if you do NOT wipe out all of the older data. I think it should work and don't recall at the moment which Folders it would create if formatted in the phone. Here's a picture of what mine looks like NOW. The 'Don't Panic' is a mapping app that stores 6 gigs of data on the card for offline use. I don't recall if 'backups' is created by the phone or by an app but I think it was created by BackupPro. So that I think the phone would just work around older files/folders created by Android.
