    I gave my Verizon version Z30 to my fiance. The phone is still under my ID and has apps which she wants to keep and Blackberry Protect which should be changed to her account. Is there a way to change the phone's BB ID's user name without causing loss of what's loaded on the phone?

    Nope, only way how to change BB ID is secure wipe and setup from scratch

    The BlackBerry ID applet in settings will let you change the email address, so it looks like you might be able to change IDs w/o a wipe. Are you absolutely sure a wipe is required?
