I have a Z30, with the official10.3.1.1784 update.

Everything was working fine and half way through the day yesterday, I was no longer able to open any BBM notifications from my hub. You click on it, the screen dims for about 5 seconds, then it goes back to normal brightness.

If I open the BBM app, it'll allow me to use bbm without any issues.

I've reset the hub, rebooted the phone and even pressed the top button to shut it off overnight. Nothing new was installed. A friend was having this issue a few months ago and it magically started working one day.

I read a few different posts about this, but haven't seen any resolution. Has this happened to anyone? What did you do to fix it?

I had this happen before, but a restart helped. Did you try reinstalling bbm? If that doesn't work you may have to reload the os

for some reason I didn't even think about reinstalling BBM. I'll delete, and reinstall it now.
Thanks for the suggestion. I figure reloading the OS may fix it, but I want to see if there are other options before doing this
