Hi everyone,
for some reason, I started to get a bit of buzz when on phone calls on my Z30. I never had that before until recently. its a BB Shop Unlocked Z30, so the OS I got on it is 10.3.2.3339/Release 10.3.2.2226.

I've never dropped the phone or hit it against anything.

Any ideas if this is a hardware or software related issue?

Yes.. but the weird thing is I was already running 10.3.23339 when it was leaked and then I got a couple of MB update and that's when it started happening.

Have you restarted holding both volume buttons? Any apps that effect that? Might not like the update?

Yep. Pressed and held both volume buttons, rebooted the phone multiple times.

My z30 started doing this and it turned out to be a tiny metal fleck in the microphone. Probably from me leaving it out for music when I work and a small shaving fell in.

Any chance a metal shaving got inside yours?

Don't think so. This is the Ear Piece for when using the phone for phone calls. Not the external speaker.
