BlackBerry Z30 user, device just over 2 years old. Running 10.3.2.2474. Browser crashes at any given time and any given website. I could be on a site I have never visited and crash. Or a site I am on daily then crash. It happens after 30 seconds or 30 minutes. Totally random. Once it crashes I have to delete history and cookies for it to operate. Every so often I need to also reset the browser.

I am running very limited android apps, this issue was present prior to loading android apps.

Been dealing with this for almost 6 months with no relief in site.

Any thoughts and or fixes. Other then a security wipe as I've tried that and the crashes still occur.

    Thanks in advance.

I too HAD the same / similar issues. Mine also started roughly 6 months ago. My browser would often freeze, apps would close and browser would crash or become unresponsive for 30-60 seconds. My issue was with an Android Application causing the problem, specifically the CBC news app. Once deleted, haven't had the problem since!! Try deleting your Android apps one at a time to try and determine which one it may be. I certainly didn't want to delete all my Android apps, but could do without one if it fixed my problem.

*** Missed the part where you said it happened BEFORE the Android apps. I would have a crash once a month or so before having Android apps, but never really bothered me as it wasn't frequently like you mentioned. Mine really didn't happen until the Android apps. Not really sure what the problem may be. Perhaps deleting history / cache/ cookies more frequently could help, but can't see it being the main issue. Good luck!

Mine crashes every so often but I believe it's because I'm running low on memory

My browser also crashes occasionally, but it's not as bad as yours. I haven't found any real solution other than using a third party alternative.

Any app I have open crashed. Started with my browser, which is wicked irritating as I'm usually in the middle of readying an article. But then I started noticing my whatsapp, twitter, or any app that I have open at the time. Any other remedies?

Yup, that started happening to me as well in the last couple of weeks. Didn't have the problem the last couple of days though. It's my browser that crashes and then other apps I have opened as well

Sometimes my android apps force close and my browser bugs out and maybe freezes but I haven't had a whole lot of issues until today.

Same here. I think it's a combination of a low memory issue while the browser has a memory leak issue.

Same happening to my passport. Apps not opening or quickly closing once opened. How does one fix the memory issue? Is there a fix besides deleting apps?

I moved everything on to my memory card so I have lots of free memory on my z30 and it still continues to happen at minimum 6-7times or more a day. It must be the software..... sigh

I had this on my BlackBerry Z3. I solved it by moving to a Z30 :-D

But it's definitely software related. It only happened about a month before I moved to the Z30.
