So much for the consistency that was alleged to be the reason behind this change.

BBM Voice note has the grey dot you hold to record, swipe left to cancel/delete. Call answer screen is swipe left to accept, right to reject.

So much for removing the "think point".

And could the designers not have come up with something a little more appealing than an incredibly boring grey dot? Make it an orb that glows blue with a slow pulse or something. But I suppose it matches the ugly grey spinning circle in apps that replaced the nicer blue one in 10.1

Totally agree.. old call screen looks and works way better! Isn't it possible that you erase the 'new' call screen file and replace it with the 'old' one? If you down a 10.2.0.*** O.S. and than down a 10.2.1.2141 O.S trough sachesi and than replace the new file with the old one? Or will the phone face an error? Anyone has a clue or this would work?

I had the first call....and completely forgot to swipe as the screen looked so different.

I spent the time till the call went to voicemail tapping on the green icon.....

Sorry. I already tried this trick and it doesn't work because it is baked within BB OS build.

But you can in the meantime start a partition if you like or sending a mail for a request to Team BlackBerry Developers to convince them.

Maybe in the future we could get the BB10 OS 10.3.

What is this damned mess you keep talking about??. YOU are in the minority asking for a call screen option, the majority of people are happy with the new call screen. Read what Clewley said about the new call screen and why they changed it.

It's highly and very unlikely that BlackBerry will put in an option for the new and old call screen. I'd rather them use their resources to implement new features and fix the bugs on the OS right now.

And I'd be careful telling people to leave BlackBerry and go somewhere else. It seems to me that this new call screen is causing you untold grief, which is frankly hilarious lol. Seriously it's only a call screen, embrace the change and be happy.
