If you check out BlackBerry's website the model they are selling is posted. I have the same model and it is compatible with T-Mobile. It will also work with AT&T but it does not have the LTE band. The question is do they sell other models. The model that is completely (STA-100-1) compatible with AT&T I could not find so I switch to T-Mobile. My monthly bill was cut in half and service so far is great.

With the Z30 becoming available on BlackBerry's site, I can finally start recommending it to my friends, coworkers and family. I appplaud Mr. Chen and the BlackBerry team on getting behind one of the best devices. If you need a different model, you should call to see if they have it to purchase.

A BlackBerry person told me today that AT&T decided not to carry the Z30 and so there will never be STA100-1 devices released to the wild.

Sad news but at least everyone who has been holding out for the -1 can either opt for the -5 or make the decision to go elsewhere with their $$$.

Tried to cancel when I realized it's the -5 but couldn't (I'm on at&t). Now with the -1 possibly not coming out, I'll just take my chances. There are enough good reviews from folks who have this model on at&t, it's worth taking a shot. Now I can't wait til it gets here.

I feel your pain. I moved to T-Mobile in order to get LTE with my Z30. T-mob worked so much better than AT&T that I ended moving my company.
