I'm will receive my Z30 tomorrow but my wife will get my Z10.

In the past you had to release your pin from your old blackberry . I know when i log in with my Blackberry ID every contact from my old
pin goes to my new pin (RIGHT)

How can i release my old pin from the Z10 so that my wife can use this great BB10 phone.

If I understand your question correctly, are you trying to sign out of your BB ID on the phone?

Yeah once you log in with your BBID you should be able to sign in with a new BBID on the Z10.

wipe your Z10 after you've done initial setup your Z30 with your BBID.

Once the Z10 boots up after the wipe, it will ask to sign-in/create a new BBID. Then you enter her BBID.

Ok. So after setting up my z30 with my BlackBerry ID everything moves to my new phone incl my BBM contacts

After that wipe my z10 and she can use her blackberry ID so she moved her BBM and stuff to my old beloved Z10.


but here old Bold 9790 must be still released by the operator. So we can sell that one.

Same thing goes for the Bold. As soon as your wife transfers her BlackBerry ID, phone contacts etc from the Bold to the Z10 she can proceed to wipe it and it will be free for anyone to use after.

The only thing that moves to the Z30 will be things attached to your BBID (ex. BBM contacts, apps, etc). Transferring your address book and other things (if you are not using a cloud service) you will need to use BB Link and do a 'Switch Device'.

Once her BBID is attached to the Z10, wipe the 9790. Everything will be released from the 9790
