Out of nowhere, my BB started looping.
White Blackberry brand logo
Screen turns off
Red light
Light off
White Blackberry logo
Screen turns off
Red light
Light off
....
..
.

and so on. I tried holding Vol Up+Down for 10 seconds, no difference.
I plugged in, now it just blinks Red for few seconds, turns off, red light again. Red light was on for 8 seconds with it off for 4 seconds, and another red light for 8 seconds. Screen off. I plugged in. Then suddenly I got charging icon lightning bolt after plugging it in, charged it for few minutes and now it is booting up.
I checked the battery status, it was around %50 when it started acting up.

Any ideas?
This was really scary!
Hmm.. is it possible power button was stuck pressed down? Would it cause it to constantly turn off like that?

I had similar loop issues earlier but tracked it down to a new flip cover. The top button slot was too tight and kept the button pressed down. Filed that bit down and things were fine thereafter. Could it be your case?

Omg broo this happened to me in on Saturday!... my phone would not boot up! same pattern you describe!... after all day trying I was able to reload the os via link! it could have been worse for me and you. I have no clue what happened

Z30 on Verizon

I really think it may have something to do with the power button.
My case is also tight sometimes I see the power menu and countdown out of nowhere, the thing is my case does not have any top or bottom cover, I guess it is somehow squeezing the Z30 too tight resulting in button sticking on the edges.
