I'm currently running Z30STA100-3/10.3.0.1154 and I'm experiencing text message issues. I don't run any android apps, I just need an os that's 10.3 that doesn't have any texting issues. I'm on Verizon as well, anyone know of the best 10.3 for our phone?

10.3.0.1418 is by far the best version of 10.3.0 for the Z10 or Z30. I loaded 10.3.0.1154 on my Z10 before I got my Z30 and it was really glitchy, useable but I noticed a lot of issues.

10.3.0.1418, has been smooth as butter. The only thing I can say worth noting is the camera app takes a bit longer to launch then previous releases. Other then that everything else has been great.

Are you sure 10.3.0.1418 has issues with the camera on your Z30? That was essentially the 10.3.0.xxxx build that fixed camera issues for us Z30 users, which I myself can attest to. The issue with .1418 though is SMS and MMS delivery, which the OP is concerned about. I'm seriously contemplating jumping to 10.3.1.938 as I have yet to read of any text message issues with that build.

I noticed, which is why I mentioned your original post. The verdict is still out on 10.3.1.938. I'm still not convinced that it's worth loading yet, some users report WIFI and radio issues with the build.

I didn't say have issue with the camera. I said there is a slight delay at times launching the camera and even that might not be considered an issue by most.

I'm having no issues with SMS or MMS on. 1418 so I can't speak to it

Unfortunately, they still seem to be around for me. In fact, I noticed after leaving home that I don't even get 4G LTE when I'm not on WIFI, at best I get 3G. Haven't had this specific leak installed for long so I didn't realize it until today. So I might be moving onto 10.3.1 sooner than I expected.

I knew I wasn't imagining it, the camera app does take a bit longer to launch. But with all things considered, I have to agree in saying this release has been super stable and everything else seems to work very well. No point in changing until my carrier puts out an official 10.3.1.xxxx release.

So yeah. 10.3.0 does have a laggy unresponsive camera and a few other memory issues on non-Passport devices. 10.3.1.938 is the best, most stable, optimized for non-Passport devices OS we, non-Passport users, should be loading.

10.3.1.938 is sweet. Only a couple of small issues so far. Prefer to use it over my passport running 10.3. Seriously. (Makes me want to see how 10.3.1 will run on the passport though...)

Interesting....

I'm loving 10.3.0.1418 on my Z30 and everything is working really well. I'm always worried about moving from one leak to the next, especially when the one I'm on is so smooth and stable.

What real gains would I get that is worth the move from 10.3.0.1418 to 10.3.1.9xxx?

There are a few minor bugs in 10.3.1.938, for example the keyboard doesn't always pop up when you attempt to reply to an instant preview message and the word correction is defective (when you highlight a word with a red underline and attempt to replace it), but I think that the OS is much more fluid than 10.3.0.1418. Plus, I get SMS back, which was a huge issue for me, even though I always do clean installs with SIC wipe beforehand. Some of the other small nuances are pretty cool too, plus if you have another .938 user on your BBM contacts list you can use the new retraction and timed messages features.

Anyone know why this is happening? I've had the leak installed for 6 days now. My system is taking up at least half of my battery. 61% average battery usage over 48 hour span.

I've used 1418 for few days and I really like it. Much an improvement from 10.2
I find the phone a bit slower sometimes but that's not enough to bother me. Battery life is the same. I haven't encountered any bugs but i'm not a heavy user ( I charge my phone every 2 days)
I'm not sure i'll want to move to 10.3.1 since Flash is not supported on that OS from what I understand.
