I was at the Bell kiosk at Fairview Mall in Toronto today checking out the form factor of a dummy z30 unit and asked the sales rep how it was selling. He said z30s were selling well; much better than the z10s did during its launch.

You gotta wonder if BlackBerry would be in a different place today had they launched BB10 with this beauty instead. I love my z10 (and my Q10) to bits but I'm an admitted BlackBerry fan boy who knew what he wanted. The z30 has more presence than the z10 on the display counter and I think could have done a better job of attracting non or ex BlackBerry users.

Oh well, you can't change the past so hopefully things improve for this once great company. Can't wait to get a z30... all they have to do to get my $600 is to bring the white one up to the land of the True, North, Strong and Free!

Not getting anyone's hopes up. Just sharing my experience which was based on information provided to me by a rep at ONE Bell location. Take it with a grain of salt.

Why would anyone buy a dummy Z30 from Bell?

Q10 running10.2.1.641 leak and loving it!

That's encouraging. I don't think the balance sheet will have anything to crow about for a year even if the Z30 inspires significant sales.

I went to Future Shop yesterday trying to see if there is any Z30 dummy unit. I saw a BlackBerry table prominently situated in the middle of the department. On the table lie five Q10, two Z10 and one Q5 but Z30. Uunfortunately, even the rep in Mobile department doesn't know when they can get a dummy Z30 in the shop
