Hi all

I just got my slightly used Z30 yesterday from a great CB member. I have my Q10 with all my BBM contacts and I want to move them to my Z30 but I want to be able to move them back to my Q10 also.

If i I click on the Switch BBM button will it move everything okay and then can I still be able to use it when I want to on my Q10 at a later time?

The Z30 is on ATnT and the Q10 is in Sprint but when I set up the BB I'D on the Z30 it took my same BB ID

Yes all you have to do is put in the same BlackBerry ID and then hit the switch button in bbm and everything will switch over

As long as you use the same BBID, yes. But only on one device at a time. Otherwise you will need a new BBID if you want to have BBM running on both

Do I just edit the BBID info on my Q10 with my new email address and password and screen name?

I dont need to back up anything before creating a new BBID do I?

I have loaded most of the apps that I have one my Q10 on my Z30

So the OP has two different phones with two different SIMs.

If you want to create a new bbid for the 2nd device, I'm not sure how you'd go about transferring old bbm contacts.

If you use the same bbid then you can only use bbm on one phone at a time.

I will want to set up my contacts BBM on my Q10 with sending them a invite with the new PIN# like you do with a iPhone or google phone
