    Hi,
I bought a BB Z10 and Z30. In both the phones I am facing following serious problems with my calendar:

    1. If i originate a meeting invitation from my laptop then the invitation/calendar entry is missing from my BB phones.
    2. When I receive a meeting request, the timing of the meeting is different. Instead of showing at +5:30GMT, it is showing at -10GMT. And hence, all my meetings are scheduled at a wrong time in my calendar.

Need urgent advise on this as I can not continue with my new BB phones if i can not schedule my meetings correctly when I am travelling.

I have little help from you on your first problem as you have not explained what Calendar you are using? Local, Google, ActiveSync..?
On the second point, try to validate your timezone (Settings -> Date and Time -> Timezone....)

...or don't schedule meetings while travelling (sorry, had to be said!)

Just to elaborate on Ducca683's comment about time zone...
Under settings > date & time:
    • ensure your time zone is set correctly
    • Set "auto update time zone" to ON (to ensure it changes when you're travelling)
    • "Set date and time automatically" to ON.

Then check the date and time shown below those options. They should now match the date/time where you are.

For the calendar sync, we need the info as noted above.

Are you working in a corporate environment with BES10? If so, it may be that the time zone of where your head office is affects some of the time zones your phone sees. I have that issue, but it's the server issue, not the phone.

Hi, problem is with the active sync of my corporate BES10. The time zone on my Z30 is set correctly (+5:30). When a meeting request shows up in my handset, it has a timezone of Hawai (-10:00). But on laptop it shows correct zone (+5:30).

Also, my date & time setting are set to automatic. And it is set to correct zone i.e. +5:30.

I have the same problem on my Z10 (item 2) since installing 10.2.1. I have a one hour offset.

Guys, just follow the advice set out above by Ellessar.

    It'll work every time.

BTW, ignore the advice from Ducca about not sending out meeting invitations while travelling. Obviously he/she hasn't realized how time-critical business communications can be... and a lot of business people are travelling a lot of the time.

Yes I've seen this issue as well. It's random in my case. I've had to manually change the times to make sure I'm not missing meetings!

Yes it's a BlackBerry. If you have something bad to say... speak to Easton!
