I have an unlocked Z30 from Europe, and I was just wondering since T-Mobile does not support BB phones (especially the Z30), will I still get the Over the Air 10.3 (Stable release) rolled out to my phone?

Its Unlocked, and have a TMO SIM in it.

I do not know when the Stable/Final release of 10.3 will be out, but when it will, will I still get it on a TMO SIM even my phone is Unlocked?

Since your phone is unlocked you can get the update through Link when BlackBerry makes it available. T-Mobile still hasn't released the latest 10.2.1.3247 OS update, so I wouldn't hold my breath on the 10.3.1 update.

Actually it did. As I recall, there was an update on my Z30 maybe 4 days after I got it and went to About Phone, OS Info, and there was. (10.2.1.3247) update.

Or maybe....I don't really know.....Sorry.

I'm trying to recall if it did, But It did something....I remember the download and the installation took forever...

The 10.2.1.3247 update is from BlackBerry. My unlocked Z10 and unlocked Z30 both got those updates. But my locked T-Mobile Z10 does not see the update.

Unlocked phones can be updated directly from BlackBerry, carrier locked phones only update when the carrier sends out the update. Most carriers add a few things to the OS to make sure it works on their networks.

Just remember if your phone is unlocked you'll get the latest update when BlackBerry makes it available.

I see on my phone the following: Software Release: 10.2.1.2977 and OS Version: 10.2.1.3247
As I remember, after a few days in getting this phone, I remember it updated and it took very long. First phase was to download and then after that it installed. The process took a very long time. So I guess it updated something.

What is the difference between Software Release and OS Version?
As far as updates go, which one should I even look at?
OS Version? or Software Release?

I think my Z30 is unlocked.
On my Z30, I have 3 unlocks listed similar to the one from this image.
So if I see 3 unlocks listed like the one from this image, my phone is unlocked?
If so, then I should be getting the 10.3 update from BlackBerry as you posted.

Question is, when?
Maybe never....
