For the first time ever, I am seeing my battery under 20%. Usually, I am hitting around 40% after a busy day and closer to 50% on a normal day. Today was a couple of long calls and a ton of email.

17% right now. Didnt know it turned yellow / orange under 20%.

    I love my z30.

I never bothered about charging my z30, as it has just been that great with battery. I used to kill the battery sometimes when I didn't get home but went out somewhere from time to time. Just now I almost killed my Passport....

I am using my Z30 still on the Hotspot of my passport or just on wifi when I want a one handed device. It is amazing that I went 3 days without charging my Z30 since I use it this way... it is just on...always on

It has been a long day where I have been passed recording several meetings, used waze and did several phone calls, note taking, emails and so forth. It has shown me that this phone will take anything you throw at it.

I have a hard time thinking back to my Z10 days where it limited my use by just having too little juice..

I was wondering about whether there's any way to replace the Z30's battery? Or since it's built-in, there's nothing to be done?

It can be replaced. When I watch jc's video on replacing the screen to replace mine he went to the battery.

It can be replaced and it's not that hard if you have some technical ability. There have been threads here on CrackBerry talking about this. The video I posted here focuses on replacing the screen. But near the end of the video he shows how to replace the battery. I replaced the screen on my Z30 just today and it was a 15 minute job and was a piece of cake.

It is a new feeling to not sense a certain panic at 10:30 and the battery is at 45% having not charged the phone the night before. (coming from a 8910).

I usually do 2 days per charge with my Z30.

I've loved my Z30 since the day I brought it home some 10 mos ago, but just recently, there's been a tremendous amount of battery drain. The Device Monitor will show that my System is using >80% of the CPU, and the System is responsible for >25% of Battery usage. I've uninstalled virtually all apps as a troubleshooting measure, but to no avail. It's like my phone is all of a sudden working triple-time on all cylinders..for no reason.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes -- the cause of mine was that some Android apps don't uninstall properly.

I had one app that was a battery *hog*, all by itself. A 18 hour battery would turn 6 hours with this app installed. I uninstalled it but the drain continued. When looking at the application list via BB10/PlayBook app tool, I could see the APK was still loaded in the device.

Removed all APKs, tried to remove it via the web tool, nothing. I had to eventually security wipe to bring it back to normal. PITA to set the device up again from scratch, but it needed to be done.

Another cause for this is sometimes the condition of the battery. I've had batteries fade after 10 months of usage, but my Z30 has a labeled manufacture date of June 2013 and is still holding a charge like it did from day one.

Actually I DID install the Amazon app (not the app store the actual Amazon app). I just deleted it and we'll see if that makes a difference.
