    Hi.i have a brand new z30 picked up yesterday. I charged the phone all night but when I took off the charge this morning the battery symbol was about 95% full.

    Is this normal for first charge?

    looks like the battery calibration is off. Try holding the volume keys up and down together and hold till it restarts. then plug it in see if it works.

    I've done the reset with the volume keys and stuck it back onto charge.

    I'm not using the oem changer. I'm using my twin usb charger that kicks out about 2amps

    Rather use the oem charger, when you need a quick charge you can use the 2amp one.

    I gave the phone a top up charge this morning using the oem changer, took it off around 10.30am. It's been used all day, medium use with bt on all day and wifi. Lots of emails and texts. Its now at 68% left. That is bloody fantastic.... wow.

    How did you calibrate your z30? I bought a new BB z30 (but manufacturing date is old) but it gives lot of charging trouble. How can I re-calibrate the z30? Pls comment ASAP.
