My battery monitor hasn't been working for a few weeks now. It just shows a flat line, the last 3 min, and no estimated time to discharge. The battery's overall performance is unchanged: still pounding out hours and hours. But now I can't use the monitor and graph to brag to my iPhone friends!

Anyone else had this happen? I'm hoping that I don't have to wipe.

I'm using the latest software on TELUS, no leak.

    Try a hard reset

I know it's likely the answer , but I was hoping to avoid the hard-reset option :P

Then I think I'm misunderstanding. I've held the volume rockers until reset. Is that what you are referring to?

I had this happen to my Z10. I've tried everything except a wipe and OS reload. I haven't used it in months. However, the Z10 device monitor isn't anything to brag about. The Z30's on the other hand is a totally other ballgame. If the hard reset doesn't work (indeed, holding both volume buttons until the BlackBerry logo shows up), you'll probably have to wipe and reload it.

When you go to device monitor, do all screens don't work? When I had this problem, only the first three tabs were a no go. The last tab (storage) always worked. Is this the same for you?

I have noticed by battery has been draining a lot since the last update.. I've checked the monitor and although I don't use BBM much at all..it shows its using 12% of power? It's not even open? Cant understand this? Any ideas people? Perhaps removed BBM and reinstall?

I think the wipe is your only solution to this. Don't forget to make a back-up before you do.

Do you have a lot of Channel subscriptions? This could be the reason.

Have you also tried a hard reset? There could be a bug somewhere.
