I thought the subject line to this thread was a movie drama about the average life of a z30.

    ....I would've seen it. Who's with me?

My Z30 will be 3 years old this fall and still going strong. I expect it could easily run for another couple of years. It s a killer phone that does everything I need it to do.

Well, for me it's been just over two years now. And it may be for another two because tomorrow I will be sending my beloved VZW Z30 to the drawer a/k/a "the bomb shelter", primarily to preserve whatever internal battery life is left in the device. I can already envision dusting off my Z30 within a couple of years right after the inevitable BB10 apocalypse. My Z30 is awesome, but for the long term I think it deserves to rest/hibernate.

I've had my Z30 for over 2 years now. NO problems. The Droid that I owned in my brief hiatus from BlackBerry started giving me issues after only 1 year of use. Z30 is solid. I wish they marketed this phone better because it's better than any phone I've ever used. This phone could have been their superstar.

3 years now and the bottom 8th of my screen has died, the top stereo speaker also stopped working about 3 months ago but I managed to fix it myself, so 3 good years but now it's dying so have moved onto Sony and Android, but not a day goes by that I don't miss my Z30.

The day has finally come on my Z30 last Saturday. Upgraded from z10 in Aug 2014 til July 2016....just under two years.

Switching on phone after fully charged, snowflakes appeared on my screen occasionally since (sometimes replacing the loading screen with BB logo). Just ordered a Q10, may you rest in peace Z30

i have owned my Z30 since October 2013, it has been excellent with no problems and battery is still giving good service, and still using Z10 since January 2013 Blackberry certainly seem to make phones that last.

2 1/2 yrs so far with my Z30. Still works well. The odd glitch on the browser once in a while but that's about it. Hopefully it'll work for another 6-12 months before I replace it.

I've had my z30 since launch. Other than some software glitches no issues at all.

Im in construction sales, I also rock an otterbox case and am quite hard on my devices. this phone has passed with flying colors.

Picked up a priv at launch, used it for a month and went back to my z30.

I just couldn't give up the pure productivity of my z30. Too many steps to complete simple tasks like forwarding attachments.

If they could upgrade the android runtime I'd have no reason to get rid of It.

I would rock this phone forever.

Simply put......."It does what I need it to do! "
