    Looks like the A10 will be a dual core and not a quad core but they're having problems with the battery and optimization of BB10. Article is at phonearena.com

    the article is BlackBerry road map calls for the BlackBerry A10, the most powerful 'Berry yet

    I hope it's not the case. If it were the case, I wouldn't buy A10 because it'd have what z10 has and a bigger screen. Sorry, I won't spend 700 dollars for a 5 inch phone when my z10 is good. BB has plenty of time to sort things out between now and November.

    How can they know about problems if the phone is not released and BlackBerry denied everything about it.

    Kinda strange!

    Quad cores are a bit overrated, but they appear more future-friendly so when it comes to 2-3 year contracts lots of people need things to help justify selling their soul.

    Actually that is coming from BGR and Jonathan S. Geller himself. So take it with not a grain of salt, but a salt truck.

    First of all guys BGR broke that and geller is a moron. This guy should be locked up for stupid he is. Anything written on bgr about BB should never be believed. There are three things you need to do to be able to write for bgr;
    1. You have to be a moron and praise steve jobs
    2. You brown nose everyone at apple and call all their product revolutionarry and inovative even if they are complete rip off of other devices
    3. Bash BB to know end

    LOL - yeah. I always find arguments about the # of cores of a processor to be a bit funny. Usually people get really quiet when you ask them to show an app that pushes that quad core to the max and wouldn't run decently (or at all) on a dual core system.

    I am surprised that people are surprised that BlackBerry isn't trying to one-up the Android spec war. With the exception of - maybe - the PlayBook when it launched, when have they ever released super high end, market leading, specs-to-the-max hardware?
