    Been doing this site day one. LTE is so inconsistent in terms of signal strength in my area. Heck even in downtown Toronto.

    Agreed. You phone is probably searching for a stronger signal. And because 4g is more consistent over lte, it doesn't constantly try to find a stronger signal.
