Hi,

when can we really expect the 10.3.1 (final stable) version to be pushed out over OTA?
Some say its end of 2014 and some say beginning of 2015.....

But, personally, even if this update were to be pushed out, I would suggest waiting another month "just to be on the safe" side of things and let the dust settle a bit. Because that too, can have bugs as well. So its worth even waiting then before installing this update.

But does anyone really know the target date?

The Classic will be released in November...I think you're confusing two separate events... BlackBerry will showcase two new device concepts at MWC 2015... we're getting 10.3.1 later this year...don't know about US carriers though...

Correct. No issues but the files are large rather than hundreds/ thousands of small ones.

Thanks. Might give that a try. I have to reference large manuals and cloud is slow and kills my data.

This man speaks the truth. Once the Classic launches there will have to be OS files available to revert that device back to "stock" but that doesn't mean that we'll have radio files available to use on our devices. I'm always hopeful though!

US carriers have always been late to the BB10 party by a few months with updates having that same lag... it sucks but it is what it is. Non-Verizon users can now buy carrier unlocked GSM phones which should allow them to own new devices earlier.
