This is what I hope the Q20 will achieve. The current BBOS customers are a little unwilling to change to John Chen has created a product for them. Hope it pans out.

I will switch and buy a Q20 and if I like it I will buy a Z50. Be patient BB and "CBers" are lucky to have the current CEO. From what I have read the prior should have been gone long ago. I am confident BB will be back in top in 3-5 years.

"Needs to be" is right. 3 million is what I think it needs to sell in its first quarter or it's over for BB10. Just my prediction.

This post nor its reasoning makes absolutely no sense whats so every. BES10/12 would not survive without BB10 regardless whether it sells like mad or not.

Believe it or not, BlackBerry 10 is here to stay regardless, and will continue on and continue improving, because its the best Mobile OS in existence. I believe John Chen already clarified this one basic point, strategic marketing and working closely with carriers to help promote and push BB10 devices out.
And the 3M Z3 sales? Nobody knows how many devices are going to sell, but so long as the device is below $200, the BB10.2 OS will instantly make this device feel like a high end device. That's how elegant and efficient BB10 is.

Estimating on Indonisia's history in relation to "Smart Phones" and "Mobile Cell Phones", there's huge potential for BlackBerry's Z3 to be a Smash Hit. John Chen just needs to ensure the Price is Right. Indonisian's love there BlackBerry's and more so BB10.

I'm just curious if there is any "buzz in the air" in Indonesia right now before the launch?
    Not at all.
BlackBerry Indonesia needs to do some buzz marketing within a few days left before the launch.

If they do another deadly quiet launch that nobody notices then they really need to shut up shop and go do something else.

It has been quiet I agree.

But I have a feeling that the Z3 is gonna have a surprise feature/element.

Ive never seen such secrecy right before the launch of a device only less than a month away.

It needs to be a) available and b) really cheap to stand any chance of success.

Thus far, it still isn't even available.

They have to OR launch it in those days OR at least make an announcement about when it will be released, info about specs and preorder, final price, availability and so on! BlackBerry do not lose credibility once again!!

Without marketing propaganda, it seems that even BlackBerry is not confident on their products...

To make it a success they should release the phone rather than postponing the dates.

Again its zero marketing. Anyways BlackBerry die hards are not awaiting this release.

No dual sim. Thats gonna hurt.

The inclusion of HDMI and NFC is a welcome surprise.

Hope it has USB OTG too.

I predict the Z3 is going to struggle. The CPU and screen resolution, the two most important specs, are not there for the price Blackberry hopes to charge. While I applaud Blackberry for finally launching a device in the low-end price tier, the Z3 is a ultra low-end device being sold for low-end price.

I predict that the market the Z3 is targeted to people who dont care or know about screen resolution or cpu's. They know large screen, long battery life and BlackBerry as a brand.

Excellent news. Now BlackBerry has to keep up the hype and pre sale/sales momentum.

I hope blackberry is demonstrating the phone at shopping malls etc. Use the hdmi and nfc, show the hub, cascades, brag about the browser, security, BBM with video, reply now function for BBM, whatsapp and text megs, gestures and flow, show em what BB10 is all about!

Its crunch time BlackBerry! No time and money for mistakes!
