    Hi there,

loving the Z3 but trying to work out the launch date of it for the UK and a rough price.

How many of you here are replacing your z10 and how lunch of a step down would the Z3 be in terms of the screen. My other half has a Lumia 625 and a z10 and the 625 has a low res screen so trying to gauge what it will be like.

What makes you think it will launch in the UK?

No confirmed release in the UK, and I'm pretty sure that the z3 will be 3g only? So unless where you live 4g doesn't exist I would imagine it being a decent step down.

Agreed, no confirmed launch in the Uk, But Chen stated they will be releasing a 4G LTE version of the Z3, so it is guaranteed for a release in the UK ( my opinion)

Don't see the massive fuss about 4G! 3G I have been very happy with.

This phone as stated in the news are for emerging markets. If it does get related to UK this will probably not the same specs as they will have for Indonesian market I think it will be not the same price and will take a awhile if It does get release. Maybe BlackBerry will release it in UK if they can see a demand for this phone.

That is because you haven't seen true 4G in action yet :P
Once you go fast, you regret having to use slow

Probably will depend on how it does in Indonesia and SA before they consider more markets

Car phone warehouse gets everything so yeah, even if they're the only stockists, it'll be here. Btw, they've just knocked the price of the Q5 in white down to 100 Quid sim free.

I don't know, phones4u take some beating in the shoddy customer service department. Personally, I deal with O2 direct and they're pretty sharp.

Same here. You only buy the phone. Phone issues, contact the manufacturer, carrier issues, call carrier... never saw the reason for dealing with resellers...

Well, they're cheap. Often having special offers for no apparent reason, case in point: CPW doing the white Q5 at 100 Quid or the Z30 free on 28 pounds per month. Often the fact that you get what you want within your budget obscures the crap after sales support.

The problem is that manufactures apart from apple take little approach to after sales they seen to sell the aftercare to them.

I has purchased an 1000 acer ultra book from currys/pc world and when I unboxed it and noticed a scratch on the screen so emailed acer and they told me to contact currys customer support as they sold there support rights to them...

It be great if BlackBerry had walk in special stores for repairs etc... be a real boost as you could have people walk in and have fantastic demos and customer support

Those stores would be a great idea. Even if it's just a handful, let's say for Australia: Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth.

US: New York, Chicago, Boston, LA, San Francisco, Houston, Miami, Philadelphia, St. Louis etc... (strategically placed, please don't be offended if your city is not mentioned)

One per large city should not be too expensive to maintain on a rental / lease basis. Five or ten to start with, and see whether it catches on.

iPhone for me? Scr... ahem Q that! (posted from the latter)
