It'll be under 200 CAD/USD without a contract. The display is not 720p nor is the RAM 2 GB on the Z3.

Other internals such as a lower amount of internal storage and lower resolution cameras also bring down the price of the unit.

The BlackBerry Z3 will be less than half the price of the BlackBerry Z30.

I think so. If its successful in Indonesia a version of it with an LTE SOC could make it in to the states. Cut down development costs with a device for all markets.

Surely anything less than 720p on a 5" screen is going to look crap? Regardless of price.

especially as the 720p 4.5" screen on the �120 moto g is stunning

It won't. Z30 is the flagship, but it too is likely due for an update at the end of 2014.

Two completely different phones specs wise. The Z3 isn't the Z30 in a different form factor. It's a budget phone that will be lacking in some respects in order to achieve that price point.
