I don't know about India... maybe someone there knows a local shop.....

No. You Won't get any further warranty if it is not repaired in "authorised" service centres.

I didn't drop it,just bumped against a rock. Just slightly cracked, rest everything working fine.
Enquired about price and time. BlackBerry service centre mentions 9500, repair cost,and estimated time frame 15 days or more, only service centers are super under- powered for spares. This situation needs to improve in all services Center in India at least. BlackBerry please ensure you stock every part at every store, and it would lead the market, in a very short time frame.
A sincere request from an ardent and blackberry user for the past 5 years.

Hey guys, great news, I replaced the cracked z3 screen for Rs.4000/- from a local vendor, but got original BlackBerry screen. Actually, you have to replace both touch and display, even if touch is working fine.
They both come as a bundled pack together. I think BlackBerry doesn't manufacture individual spare parts, this being cost effective. The authorized service center cost is anywhere between 8500 to 9000 INR. The time taken in getting spares is between 40 days or more.

Buy a case for your z3. Flip case will be better as even it falls nothing will happen.

Good to see your Z3 screen issue shorted out, I need same help for my BB Passport, it fell from some height and screen glass cracked, although working fine but odd in look, I want to get it replace in your way but no option in Ranchi.

Kindly find out from same source where you got your device repaired, kindly give me contact no. of your service provider, may be on your bill if taken or anyway, kindly get me in touch with them for resolution of my issue.

Service Center in Ranchi even not able to tell price for the same, they will take 1 month minm, will send BB to other place... I have lately procured original flip cover from offshore...

It's good news but i think your local vendor say lies to you, Cause i think you can replace your z3 display or touch separately. Look at pic... here is only separate touch available....




You was telling in previous comment that your touch was working good only display got cracked...? Actually i need your help. My BlackBerry Z3's touch also not working properly (sometimes it works automatically) and my z3 is out of warranty... i have need to replace it but here any local vendor can't replace it, i just live in small city so they don't have its touch. I just want to say that can you send me your old touch of cracked display, i know you will not get it from vendor after repair your z3 but i think you can contact to him and ask about it (means aapke z3 ka touch uske paas abi tak hai ya nahi and ager uske pass ho to shayd wo aapko dede after all wo aapka hi tha), and if you can send it to me then very very thanks to you in advance and if you want some money on behalf of it all then also we can discuss about it.
Please help me if possible.

Check on eBay touch digitizer under 1200/- and local market touch and lcd display under 2000/- Aur Haa dono change karate time touch screen tools use karnataka wana lcd damage ho jaygi
