    Earlier is ----> 10.2.1

    New or updated os -----> 10.3.1

    Now I want to go for a security wipe.. after security wipe I will go back to 10.2.1 or I will remain in 10.3.1 ???

    You'll stay on 10.3.1. A security wipe wipes all data from your device.....

    My os version is 10.3.1.2243 and software release is 10.3.1.1565 ..

    Now I got a os release update 10.3.1.1779

    My question is those who have already installed it find any lag or problem after this update.. ??

    You do NOT change the BBID after you setup the device. You change the ID before you setup your phone.

    As for setting up apps, go ahead. As for restoring, as long as the BBID on the device and the backup file match you should be golden.

    "BlackBerry Runtime" component of Link backup contains a lot of the global settings and application permissions for Android apps. Generally if you do not restore this, most of the info gets recreated on the device as you run your various Android apps again. However, some saved game info (like Clash of Clans) is stored there.

    If you're going through with this whole exercise, why don't you just install the latest OS instead? 10.3.2.2339.
