Well I own a Z3 and am quite happy with it but have run into a niggle. I use a horizontal belt pouch and have noticed that often when I sit down or ride my motorcycle, the power button gets pressed and the phone switches itself off. Needless to say, I keep missing calls. Is there any way to disable the continuous press to switch off the phone or a workaround of some sort?

Nope. If the horizontal belt pouch is that important to you, disassemble the phone and have the power button removed altogether. or go the easier route and use some other method to carry the phone :P

Or, as an alternative to disassembling the device, why not get a small piece of rigid plastic, make a button sized groove in it if it won't sit flush, and then tape it over the button. It won't win any style awards but may solve the problem when on your bike.

Found the solution. Cut a small hole in the case so the button doesn't get pressed. Seems to work.
