I saw my first Z3 today. Apparently they have been available in South Africa since last week. R2999.00(about US$285 today) isn't too bad a price and it looks and feels great. I'm very tempted by the Z3 but I need to think about this for a while, I have no problems with my Z10.

I got the Z3 delivered yesterday night and I tell you 'Its awesome and very easy to use OS'...

However, the notification volume during a call or an sms is very low, volume set max under sound settings, but the volume seems to be too low to even notice, can someone help me on this? Also let me know how to change the ringtone?

First of all
BlackBerry makes great devices and Z3 is one if that.
Wanted a device which look premium at low cost also handy and easy to use as lumia devices is just known for Nokia brand.
For Nokia device I have to use Zune software similar, iphone uses iTunes every time I have to sync music and photos I need PC.
Windows 8.1 OS is fluid no doubt but scrooling thorough tiles on homescreen and UI gives Headache to me.
And for IOS and Windows I m stick to locked ecosystem.
BB10 OS is secure also I can install various apps from various app store etc
I was confused with Nokia Lumia 720 with clear black display and best battery but this is year old device.
each month losts of Android devices launch with nothing new in it and If you purchase one of them after next 3 month your device will be half of the original price but blackberry lanch only few devices with great hardware.
Z3 lanched with dual core processor, due you think we need 8 core in any device to run paticular app and to show off benchmark etc and what about Battery?
Moreover I have used IOS devices and Android devices but wanted to try New OS thats why I chose Z3

Low resolution screen display made the z3 annoying. Im using iphone 5s, lg g3 and this budget phone asus zenfone 5 which is half the price of the z3 but has better display.

You should have waited the wagon for Passport or Classic if you are really after the screen

I use Z3STJ100-1/10.2.1.3247

But really I dont mind a lesser clarity as compared with the Z10
