I use a BB Z3 and want to flip my screen upside down permanently as I would feel free using a phone with the earphone jack at the bottom and also the buttons would be closer to my hand making things much easier.

can't do it permanently. would have to flip it each time you want to use it and it will rotate back in place.

I am not trying to rotate the screen side-wise which the OS permits. In android, under the boot-loader options, there is a provision to turn the screen upside down permanently. I want to do exactly that on my bb. upside down as in complete vertical flip.

Ok what I am trying to say in plain English is that as far as I know you can't unless you physically re-mount the screen upside down, however I'm assuming the gyros would wrongly compensate and confuse or frustrate you.
