I'll have to try that but I thought that would only allow access to whats on your sd card. Am I wrong?

Blackberry link will only work with Leopard and higher.......

Also, mass storage doesn't stay ON...seems like it has to keep being reselected to ON whenever you hook it up to the computer. Bummer.

I'm 10.6.8 as well. I just plugged in my z10 and link asked to install. I would delete any blackberry programs on your mac and then just plug in the z10 and follow the instructions.

I may have just found out why but I have to wait until I get home to see if it works. If you go into Settings on your Z10 and then Storage and Access and click on USB Connection. You can change it from Windows to MAC.

There are three or four threads on this topic, so hopefully Mac people with Snow Leopard will find this response. Like many mac people, I just haven't upgraded beyond 10.6.8 for many reasons (being able to use a lot of apps that work for me now being the main one...) So - the OP is correct, BB Link does NOT work with Snow Leopard - 10.6.8. There is no old version of BB Link for Z10. I went round and round trying to fix it. Finally I deleted all BB dmg files. Then I made sure my Settings were set up for Mac and USB Mass storage. I plugged into the USB port on the computer and just dragged and dropped all the files I needed onto my phone.

That still doesn't help with backup, however, since it appears that all drag-drop files went onto the SD card. So I made a backup of that card after copying everything over that I needed. I've only had this phone for a week, so I'll probably figure it out.

The only glitch I've found is that my ears (cute little elf ears that they are) tend to "dial" the phone when I'm talking on it, or worse - hang it up! So I've had to put it on speaker if I can't find my headset... any help with that would be cool.

Othern' that, It's a great phone. I travel overseas and into Canada, so having a GSM phone with a SIM card is wonderful. My former phone was with Sprint - Android Epic. This was an easy switch and Crackberry has been a lifesaver. My other phone had a physical keyboard. With talk to text and a well designed keyboard, I'm making the switch rather easily.

So Thanks to all for your wonderful input. I'm liking the BB community,
