So, wi-fi's connected on my Z10, all is well. I unlock the phone after a period of non-use (about an hour) and the wi-fi has "limited connectivity." Funny, my 3DS is online no problems. I also notice the Z10 has turned the Wi-Fi "OFF." Upon trying to turn it back "ON" I am met with resistance from the phone as seen in this video :

Also, the phone hasn't latched back on to the mobile web (just calls and texts) and won't reconnect properly to wi-fi (it sees the router and "connects" but with zero signal) after a period in flight mode so I've had to reboot.

    Anyone else had this issue?

The "limited connection" problem? A lot of people: http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...-error-909783/

For the 2nd part. I never used that screen to turn wifi on/off. It is in my quick settings on dropdown, and it always works when I tap on the wifi icon.
Did you update your OS to the latest?

You may want to take your answers and concerns to above thread instead.

I am also having this problem (z10... home wifi and it gives me this error about 5-10 times a day... Hubby has z30 and never used to get it but does about every other day now). Galaxy tab, ipods, iPad, PlayBooks all stay connected just fine. Getting VERY frustrated.

    mandlecreed,

This problem is not the recent issue with "limited connection". That is where Wifi is physically ok, but there is a DNS connectivity issue. You are having a Wi-Fi driver problem. It crashed. Restart your phone.

If this is happening over and over, try and update your router. If not, if it is happening after exactly 1 hour, try changing your WPA key update interval to 2 hours, and see if that changes the interval of the crash. If so, get a new router. It could also be a sleep issue.

Try seeing if you can copy the diagnostics log after this happens and paste it here.

    BerryWife,

Given the name "Virus Testing Network", is that just to scare people off from trying to hack you, or could this mean that the AP *is* firewalled from the Internet, intentionally (so as to not spread a virus being tested for learning purposes)?

The 0dBm thing has always annoyed me. I've had working connections with 0dBm showing, but I know its working when a valid RSSI is present (ie, -58dBm).

I have two wifi networks... It Hurts When IP and Virus Testing Network. I get the exact same symptoms with both (just happened to grab the logs from the second).

Hubby just gets creative with names. I also had it when we were Surveillance Van 4.

Getting worried that my Rogers data plan will be used up and I will end up billed.
