Hello I have 3 different Z10 on vzw, 2 are daily drivers while one just collects dust. Now I am having a issue with my phones losing 4g and going to 3g very often. Here's the catch though only 2 of my z10 lose 4g while the 3rd device has 4g when the others are on 3g. I am running 10.2 on one of the devices that always switches to 3g but my other 2 devices are on 10.1 and only one of them pretty much keep a constant 4g signal. Any ideas as to why this is happening? And the crazy thing is all the phones can be lying on my coffee table and only one device will be on 4g while the other 2 are on 3g

First of all, if you keep the devices in close physical proximity to each other they will probably interact to some extent.

Second, the STL100-4 device is unique because of its radio architecture and to my knowledge, all of the 10.2 leaks have included only "generic" radio code. This also applies to various 10.1 leaks. My guess is that when VZW eventually releases their own version of 10.2, it will have unique radio code which has been tested and tweaked for best performance on Verizon's fairly unique network. In the meantime, it wouldn't surprise me if various non-official 10.1 or 10.2 leaks do not perform optimally on VZW, mainly because they are pre-release / beta code, but also for the reason mentioned above.

I would say the benchmark should be the official releases, either 10.0.9.422 / 10.0.9.2743 (original VZW Z10 release) or 10.1.0.2039 / 10.1.0.2151. (official VZW 10.1 release)

For example, I was doing testing recently with an internet radio app on official VZW 10.1 and streaming was working fine, when I updated that to the latest (until yesterday) 10.1 leak (10.1.0.4687), could be my imagination but it seemed like it was a lot harder to keep the audio streaming.

Could be a great possibility because the phone I have out of the 3 that runs 4g the most is the 10.1.0.2151.

The other 2 devices have 10.2.0.1047 and the other device has 10.1.0.4863
