How is the call volume on the Z10 vs the Z30?

My elderly fathers hearing isn't what it used to be and we've been having a difficult time finding a phone with loud enough ring volume that could hear. This is especially difficult in the winter when his phone is under additional layers of clothing.

The only phone he seems to be able to hear is my Z30. He isn't really heavily into smartphones so I was thinking of getting him the Z10

Can anyone who has heard both phones comment on the ringing volume of the Z10 compares to the Z30?

Can't answer that question but it is possible to select the MUSIC or TUNE/SOUND files for various notifications including the ringing phone and you can either find a very loud mp3 file or even create one using various mp3 editing files including Audacity. So boost the volume on some tune and see if that might help.

F2 is right, find the loudest ring tone at loudest volume setting.
Maybe a hearing aid might help?

My grandfather didn't hear very well, but was too proud to even consider getting a hearing aid.
