    My Z10s volume is very quiet during calls. and yes I make sure the volume is right up using the buttons during a call.

    To hear the callers properly I have to switch over to speaker mode. Volume is quiet loud and hearable.

    has the little speaker failed or is there a secret volume somewhere..

    Its been quiet for a couple of months now.

    have you tried your settings on your phone?? sound on/ volume on max? then go to your phone app and check out the volume? those are separate from the buttons on the side of the phone.

    Download Blackberry Virtual Expert (it may be included in newer versions of the OS). It contains a series of tests.
