OMG, replaced my Torch 9850 with a Z10(4): a truly wonderful experience. Walmart tech
set it up and installed 64 GB external memory. GUI is pretty much like a small PB. Verizon 4G-LTE is awesome. What is not to like about a bigger screen ? Very light weight, too.

Was showing to bartender who had just picked up his (unreal, but true!). Decided to demo PB video chat to him. Both my PB and my Z10 were logged in to the bar's WiFi. Initiated VC with my daughter via my PB. About fell off my chair: both my Z10 and my PB were connected. Don't know if this is controllable, the plan, or what. Later, disabled PB and VCd from my Z10 to my daughter's PB. Totally wonderful experience. Plus, no twitter, no whatever - just Blackberry.

Decided after the sequence 8830, Storm, Storm II, and Torch 9850 that my contacts, pictures, and music were a snarled up mess and so I am hand entering contacts and clicking and dragging selected items from the rest. Doctor Neutron

syncing from a non-bb10 device gets a little wonky some times. I went the way you did and just hand entered all my info/contacts/settings then backed up using bblink. Wiped, restored with my last backup and it worked fine.
